Control how your projects are accessed, organized, and designed.

Overview

Every project has project details managed outside of the project editor. Access project details by selecting the project item from the Dashboard.
  • This view is primarily for managing basic information about a project, setting publish and sharing preferences, and monitoring storage.
  • Additional areas of the project details include project access page, allowed viewers, and view history.
  • Actions can be taken from the project detail page including publishing, sharing, renaming, editing, and transfering.

Name

Project name used for your organization

Thumbnail

The project thumbnail is used to visually identify a project within the dashboard. This thumbnail is not publicly visible and only appears within the Dashboard area of Standards. By default, the project thumbnail displays the project Name, but can be customized with an image and background color. To change a project thumbnail, select Edit thumbnail

Status

The project status shows the published state of a project, and is updated automatically by publishing or editing a project. The different states a project may have are shown below:
  • Draft - Not live on the web: Only viewable in editor by members of the workspace.
  • Published - Live on the web, up to date: Viewable on the web at the set web address. All edits are up to date and matching the live project.
  • Published - Live on the web, changes were made: Viewable on the web but some edits were made that are not reflected on the live project. Selecting Publish changes in the Publish & share window will push the changes live and the project status will change to Published - Live on the web, up to date.

Actions

  • Publish & share Show publish and share window to set URL, access, password, viewers, and appearance items like favicon and share image.
  • Edit Enter the project editor
  • View Opens the live project in a new browser tab
  • Transfer Show transfer window enabling project transfers to your other workspaces or to other people.

When published with plain password access enabled, view the project password and set attempt limit

The project owner, which is also the owner of the workspace

Danger zone

Delete projects from the danger zone
Keep in mind: Deleting a project will remove all project data and cannot be recovered. Double check you are intentional when deleting projects.

Some project settings are only available with Pro and Enterprise plans.

Access page Pro & Enterprise

Projects published with security settings that restrict public access to their projects will gain an additional page viewers see when they first visit the project Web address

Allowed viewers Enterprise

Projects published with the Sign-in required option gain additional settings to manage the viewers with access to restricted pages in a project. To manage allowed viewers, see the options below.

View history Enterprise

Projects published with either the Sign-in required or Logged public access options gain an additional page to track the viewers who have accessed their project.

Frequently asked questions

Project backups are accessed within the project editor from the settings icon (gear). Preview past backups and revert if necessary.
Standards projects can have analytics tools interated through either a Google measurement ID if you use GA, and other tools using scripts
